1. First contact
Initial contact can be made through the website form, by email or through a budget request. The goal is to quickly understand the nature of the project: corporate film, promotional video, teaser, trailer, event capture, educational video, logo animation, graphic branding, editing or post-production.
The more precise the request, the faster and more relevant the response can be. It is useful to specify the context, target audience, distribution channels, location, desired duration, deadlines and any visual references.
2. Needs analysis
We analyze the message to be conveyed, the expected tone, technical constraints and communication goals. This step helps determine whether the project requires a simple post-production intervention, a full production, a filming crew, graphic animation or collaboration with specialized freelancers.
3. Quote, budget and scope
The quote depends on the level of preparation, the number of filming days, the equipment required, the editing workload, the level of visual branding, music or image rights, deadlines and the number of deliverables. A client may also propose a budget; in that case, we help determine what is realistic within that framework.
Stating a budget is not a problem; it often helps build a more realistic proposal by prioritizing the essential elements.
4. Pre-production and organization
Once the project is approved, we prepare the necessary elements: brief, script or running order, schedule, shot list, authorizations, lighting/sound needs, crew, participants, locations, graphic branding and expected deliverables. For some projects, a storyboard or visual direction may be proposed.
5. Filming, capture or visual production
Depending on the project, CONCEPT-PRODUCTION can work with a light or more complete setup: capture, interviews, illustrative footage, sound recording, lighting, indoor or outdoor filming, short content for social networks, event videos or more institutional formats.
We favor an efficient approach: capturing useful footage, protecting message coherence and anticipating editing needs from the production stage.
6. Editing, visual branding and post-production
Post-production may include selecting footage, editing, transitions, audio mixing, color grading, titling, subtitles, animations, effects, compositing, motion design, logo reveal or logo animation, as well as exports adapted to each platform.
7. Approval and revisions
Client feedback should be structured and grouped as much as possible. By default, corrections concern the items included in the contract. Any request adding a new shoot, a new creation or a change in scope may require an additional estimate.
8. Delivery and distribution
Deliverables can be sent via secure link, dedicated server, NAS or another solution suitable for large files. Formats are defined according to use: web, social networks, presentation, screen display, archive or high-quality version.
9. Rights, licenses and confidentiality
Usage rights are clarified according to the nature of the project: music, images, typefaces, content supplied by the client, in-house creations, stock content or elements resulting from collaborations. Confidentiality agreements can be arranged when the project requires them.
10. Collaboration with freelancers and partners
Depending on the assignment, CONCEPT-PRODUCTION may collaborate with complementary profiles: camera operators, editors, motion designers, graphic designers, voice-over artists, photographers, sound technicians, directors or creative consultants.
