Essential answers to understand how CONCEPT-PRODUCTION works: services, budget, production, post-production, delivery, rights, confidentiality and collaborations.

General questions

  • What is CANAL-PRODUCTION?

CANAL-PRODUCTION is the help and information center linked to CONCEPT-PRODUCTION. It brings together useful answers to prepare an audiovisual project, understand our services, contact the team, request a quote or organize a collaboration.

  • What is the connection with CONCEPT-PRODUCTION?

CONCEPT-PRODUCTION remains the main website and the reference for the activity. CANAL-PRODUCTION serves as a practical support platform: FAQ, guides, contact information, client pathway and preparation resources.

  • What services are offered?

Services include corporate and promotional films, video editing, animations, teasers, video authoring, film titles, TV branding, trailers, advertising spots, effects, compositing, logo reveal and logo animation.

  • Do you work with companies, associations and private clients?

Yes. Requests may come from companies, startups, freelancers, associations, institutions, artists or private clients. The scope is adapted to the objective, the expected level of finish and the budget.

  • Do you work only in Cachan?

CONCEPT-PRODUCTION is based in Cachan in the Paris region, but projects can be prepared remotely or organized on site depending on production constraints.

Quotes, budget and invoicing

  • How do I request a quote?

The simplest approach is to indicate the type of video desired, the objective, approximate duration, location, deadlines, distribution channels, visual examples and available budget if you have one.

  • Can I directly propose a budget?

Yes. Proposing a budget helps build a realistic response. The team can then recommend a package, reduce the scope, prioritize deliverables or propose a progressive production.

  • Why can two similar projects have different prices?

The price depends on preparation time, number of filming days, equipment, editing, effects, sound, rights, versions, urgency and the expected level of finish.

  • When does the project officially start?

The project starts after agreement on scope, budget, deadlines and delivery conditions. Depending on the case, a deposit, purchase order or written approval may be requested.

Filming and production

  • Can you manage a production from A to Z?

Yes, depending on the project: concept, script, storyboard, organization, filming, capture, editing, visual branding, export and delivery. Some assignments may also be limited to one specific stage.

  • What types of equipment can be used?

The setup depends on the project: HD cameras, 4K or higher configurations when necessary, sound recording, lighting, stabilization, filming accessories and suitable post-production tools. Lighter solutions can be used for quick content.

  • Do you prepare scripts and storyboards?

Yes, when the project requires it. The objective is to turn an idea into a clear visual narrative adapted to the target audience and distribution platforms.

  • Can an event recording be booked?

Yes, subject to availability, validation of the location, schedule, authorizations and technical requirements. The recording can then be edited into a summary, teaser or full video.

Post-production, editing and motion design

  • Do you only provide editing?

Yes. A client can provide their footage and request only editing, visual branding, color grading, sound, titling or format adaptations.

  • Do you offer motion design and logo animation?

Yes. CONCEPT-PRODUCTION can create or adapt animations, animated logos, graphic packages, titles, credits, introductions, transitions and visual elements for videos.

  • Can you create teasers and trailers?

Yes. Short formats are part of the services: teaser, trailer, advertising spot, short promotional content, social video or event announcement format.

  • Do you work on subtitles?

Yes, subtitles can be added according to distribution needs, especially for social networks, institutional formats or videos intended for a multilingual audience.

Delivery, formats and revisions

  • How are files delivered?

Files can be delivered via protected link, dedicated server, secure NAS or another solution suitable for large files. The terms are specified according to the project.

  • Which video formats can you deliver?

Exports may include web MP4, Full HD 1080p, 4K/UHD, short, vertical, square or social-media-adapted versions. Exact formats are defined before delivery.

  • How many correction cycles are included?

The recommended process allows up to three correction cycles on the elements included in the contract, with feedback grouped and sent within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.

  • Are source files delivered?

Not automatically. Source files, editing projects, footage or editable elements must be explicitly planned, as they may involve rights, organization and storage constraints.

Rights, music, images and confidentiality

  • How are music and visual rights managed?

Music, images, typefaces and third-party content must be used with the appropriate licenses. Elements supplied by the client must also be legally usable.

  • Can I use the video on all my channels?

This depends on the agreed rights: web, social networks, event, advertising, international distribution or internal use. The scope must be clarified before final delivery.

  • Can a confidentiality agreement be signed?

Yes, a confidentiality agreement can be arranged for sensitive projects, product launches, internal content or non-public productions.

  • Can I provide my own images and music?

Yes, provided that you have the necessary rights. If there is any doubt, the team may ask you for proof of authorization or suggest licensed alternatives.

Collaborations and freelancers

  • Does CONCEPT-PRODUCTION work with freelancers?

Yes, depending on the needs: camera operators, editors, motion designers, sound technicians, graphic designers, photographers, voice-over artists or post-production specialists may work on some projects.

  • How can I propose a collaboration?

You can contact the team by indicating your specialty, operating area, references, availability and a link to your portfolio or showreel.

  • Can collaborators use project references?

This depends on the contract, confidentiality and rights granted. Written authorization may be required before publishing any excerpts or references.

  • How are approvals organized with several stakeholders?

A project contact should centralize feedback to avoid contradictions. Approvals are more efficient when corrections are grouped and prioritized.
