Delivery of an audiovisual project is not limited to sending a video. It must ensure smooth playback, quality suited to the medium, a reasonable availability period and a clear understanding of usage rights.
Possible formats
Exports can be prepared according to the final use: approval preview, web publication, social networks, screen display, internal presentation, archive or high-quality master. The most common formats are MP4/H.264 for standard distribution, Full HD or 4K files when the project requires them, and vertical or square versions for social platforms.
- Web standard: lightweight files for sharing, approval or quick publication.
- Full HD 1080p: a versatile format for websites, social networks, presentations and standard distribution.
- 4K / UHD: recommended for screens, projections, archives or premium content.
- Social media formats: vertical, square or short versions depending on the platform.
Digital delivery
Delivery can be made via protected download link, dedicated server, secure NAS or another solution suited to large files. The link availability period is defined according to the project and can be extended if planned in advance.
For large projects, an external hard drive or dedicated transfer solution may be considered. Hardware or shipping costs must be specified depending on the case.
Revisions and corrections
Revisions make it possible to correct, adjust or finalize the elements included in the project scope. To avoid scattered back-and-forth, feedback should ideally be grouped into a single document or structured message.
Operating reference: each review request should be sent within a reasonable timeframe after delivery. The project may include up to three correction cycles on the items covered by the contract. Any new shoot, creation or out-of-scope request may be billed separately.
Usage rights
Usage rights depend on the elements created, supplied or licensed: videos, images, music, voices, typefaces, animations, templates, stock content or elements belonging to the client. Distribution conditions must be specified when the project is intended for an advertising campaign, international distribution, a public event or broader commercial use.
Archiving and source files
The final delivered files do not automatically include source files, footage, editing projects or editable elements. These items may require a specific agreement, particularly for reasons of rights, organization, technical weight or protection of the production workflow.
Final approval
Once the final version is approved, the files are exported in the agreed formats. Approval confirms that the content matches the accepted scope, except in the case of an obvious technical error or an additional request approved separately.
